Switzerland
In Switzerland there are four official languages: French, German, Italian, and Romansh. The largest group is the German speakers, centered in the area around Zurich. This is followed by the French-speaking group around Lausanne, the Italian speakers around Lugano, and the smallest group of only a few hundred people who speak a mixture of Italian and Latin, known as Romansh. The three major groups have television in their own language, but in school they study the languages of their fellow citizens. This is how the Swiss speak perfectly several languages.
