Since Bulgarian does not have a corresponding present continuous tense, which is characteristic of English, mistakes are often made when asking questions in these two tenses.
In present continuous, questions are formed through inversion — the auxiliary verb moves to the beginning of the sentence.
He is sleeping./ Is he sleeping?
And in simple present tense to form a question we add the auxiliary verb DO, for third person — DOES.
You speak English./Do you speak English?
Does she speak English?
