On April 16 in the city of Weimar, the city of German classics, the city where Goethe and Schiller lived, the eleventh long night of the museums took place. Forty-five museums, galleries, archives, and churches participated in it. Their doors were open from 6 p.m. to midnight. In addition to regular exhibitions, 140 more events were organized—concerts, discussions, lectures, film screenings. This year, the number of participating museums, galleries and others was greater than last year.
