LOS VERBOS lie/lay, hang, raise/rise
El verbo LIE tiene dos significados principales:
1. mentir
2. estar acostado, tumbarse

En el sentido de 'mentir' es regular y forma el pasado y participio de la siguiente manera:

Y en el sentido de 'estar acostado' es irregular y sus formas son:

El verbo LAY significa en general 'poner, colocar en posición horizontal' /aunque también puede tener significados como 'poner la mesa', 'despedir', 'poner huevos', etc./ Es irregular y sus formas son:
lay – laid – laid

El verbo HANG tiene dos significados:
1. colgar, ahorcar /y en este significado tiene formas irregulares para pasado y participio – hang – hung – hung/
2. ahorcar, ser ahorcado /y es regular – hang – hanged – hanged/
